How Verification Works

Verified and unverified, explained.

RDWorkplace understands that some dietetics professionals may not initially feel comfortable providing credential information to a new platform. For that reason, we permit a limited number of moderated, unverified perspectives. These submissions are clearly labeled, do not affect company ratings, and represent no more than 15% of displayed reviews for any company. Professional credential verification is encouraged because it strengthens the reliability of information available to the dietetics community.

Verified RD/RDN

RDWorkplace privately confirmed the contributor's professional RD/RDN credential — through CDR registration, applicable state licensure, or other administrator-approved supporting information. Their identity is not displayed publicly.

Verified DTR/NDTR

RDWorkplace privately confirmed the contributor's DTR/NDTR credential — through CDR-issued DTR/NDTR credentials or other administrator-approved supporting information. Not every state licenses dietetic technicians, so this verification does not depend on state licensure.

Unverified contributor

RDWorkplace has not confirmed this contributor's professional credential. Their perspective still passes the same content moderation as verified reviews, but it does not affect a company's rating and is never labeled as coming from an RD, RDN, DTR, or NDTR.

Credential verification

Verification is currently a manual, administrator-reviewed process. Submitting for verification is private — credential details are never shown publicly, in URLs, or on any review or company page.

Public anonymity

Reviewer identities are not displayed publicly or shared with reviewed employers, except when legally required. RDWorkplace does not promise complete, absolute, or guaranteed anonymity.

Moderation

Every review — verified or unverified — stays unpublished until a moderator approves it. Automated systems flag likely problems (names, patient information, threats, spam, and more) for human review; they never auto-publish or auto-delete anything.

Rating eligibility

Only approved, professionally verified reviews are used to calculate a company's rating, category averages, or "featured company" status. Unverified reviews are excluded from all of these calculations, by design, at the database level.
